Terms & Conditions

We would like to thank you for shopping with Cotteridge Photo Co. By ordering a product with us, you accept these Terms & Conditions. Cotteridge Photo Co reserves the right to change these terms and conditions. You should regularly check these Terms and Conditions before ordering. This does not affect your statutory rights.


Product Specifications and Suitability

We do our best to ensure that you will receive the correct order. Sometimes, however, mistakes are made and Cotteridge Photo Co cannot be held responsible for the accuracy or otherwise of any advice given regarding the repair of any appliance. If you do receive the incorrect parts we will of course do our very best to rectify the situation.


Availability / Estimated Delivery Times

We do our very best to ensure that all our orders are available and dispatched to you within 2-3 days. Sometimes a delay may occur, perhaps the products you require are out of stock. If this is the case we will inform you immediately. Sometimes we may have to cancel your order because the part that you wanted is obsolete and no longer available. When this is so we will let you know straight away and offer you an alternative if one is available. When you have ordered several products, all the parts that are in stock will be dispatched immediately and any part which is out of stock will be sent separately. You will not be charged for delivery in this case.



Payment over the Internet can be made by Visa, Visa Delta, Mastercard, Switch or Solo cards via Sagepay. Alternatively, you can pay by telephone, cheque or postal order. Please note that if you choose to pay by cheque, your order will not be dispatched until the cheque has been cleared. If you choose to pay by postal order, your order will be dispatched upon receipt of payment. All prices are quoted in pounds sterling and include VAT at 20%. It may be necessary to adjust the prices in the event of an increase in VAT rates, or as a result of an international price increase. Customers are entitled to a full refund if this is not acceptable.

Due to the nature of the clearing system, your credit card payment WILL be taken at the point of ordering. If a problem in supply should occur we will, of course, be happy to make a refund as appropriate.

Most items will be delivered using Royal Mail but some expensive, bulky and/or fragile products will be shipped via special delivery or private courier. In the unlikely event that you have not received all or part of your order within the estimated delivery time and have not been contacted by us regarding a delay to your order please contact our customer services department, quoting your order number.


Cancellations & Returns

There are certain conditions where you cannot return items:
The seal on memory cards or software are broken or the goods were a special order or 14 days has elapsed following receipt of the goods
Orders may be cancelled at any time before they are despatched for a full refund.
The Customer will be responsible for the cost of returning items unless agreed otherwise beforehand. Goods should not be returned until contacting customer services and given authorisation to return the said items.
